Gourmet Beans and Franks

Happy New Year!!! We are starting 2019 with some quick and easy recipes for you to enjoy.  Whether you cook for one, or ten, cooking should be simple and fast.  We know that you are super busy, and why add to your burden with complex recipes that require a ton of ingredients?   We are not reinventing the wheel here, in fact this week we bring you a new twist on an old time fav,  Beans and Franks!!  This recipe will take you under 4 minutes to make, that is faster than waiting in line at a drive through.  When you watch the video I recommend this serves 3, we actually fed 4 satisfied adults with this one meal.  If you are a vegetarian, you can substitute with your favorite meatless frank.  Keep visiting us for more fun recipes, that won’t break the bank.

Ingredients serves 4 Cost
1 Package of Hebrew National Nitrate free all Beef Hot Dogs $3.99
2 1/3 Container diced yellow onions $0.60*
3  1 Can of giant baked beans in tomato sauce $1.99

Directions

Step 1: Spray your pan with a little bit of Olive oil.

Step 2:  Add 1/3 container of the diced yellow onions.

Step 3:  While your onions are browning cut your hot dogs into bite size pieces.

Step 4: Add the can of giant cannellini beans in tomato sauce and heat through.

Step 5: Enjoy!
